The Design Phase
Next, we move on to the design phase. We'll look at wood choices, specifications, hardware, and finishes, either in person at the workshop or online. You'll receive a clear design drawing and specification sheet that captures your vision.
Detailed Quotation and Planning
After the design phase, I will provide you with a clear quotation and a timeline for the expected start of the build and delivery dates.
Sourcing Your Materials
If you wish, you are welcome to accompany me to visits with my suppliers. Together, we can handpick the finest woods that will bring your instrument to life, ensuring that each detail aligns with your dream.
The Build Process
As we move into the build phase, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the workshop as frequently as you desire. I encourage at least one visit to fine-tune the neck shape to your specifications, ensuring the ultimate in playability.
Throughout the building process, I will send you regular updates in the form of photos and videos, keeping you connected to the progress of your guitar.
Collection or Delivery
When the moment finally arrives, you’ll be invited to the workshop to personally collect your custom guitar. This allows for any final adjustments to be made, ensuring the setup is perfectly tailored to your preferences. Alternatively, your guitar can be shipped to you with full insurance, providing you peace of mind.
Once it arrives, you will benefit from a comprehensive warranty on both the build and hardware. Rest assured, I will check in with you to ensure that your new instrument exceeds your expectations and resonates with your musical story.
