Unquendor Guitars at the "Vintage Guitar Show Veenendaal"

Today I took a huge step with the Unquendor Guitars and presented the Nessa models at the Vintage Guitar Show in Veenendaal in The Netherlands.

The Vintage Guitar Show Veenendaal is one of the largest Vintage Guitar shows in Europe.
What better place to showcase my guitars for the very first time then to a very large audience of guitar enthusiasts.

The Show

Entering venue ‘ The Basiliek’

I have to say I was pretty nervous entering the venue to display my guitars to such a large audience. After all my guitars hadn’t left my house before and most visitors to this show are pretty knowledgeable when it comes to guitars.
Not having sufficient stock to justify a proper stand in the main show I made use of the Guitar market this show offers to display 1 guitar at no charge. Luckily I brought my lovely wife so I was allowed to display 2 of my models. And so we did.

Me and my guitars at the Vintage Guitar Show

From the moment we set up the guitars on display I was a bit overwhelmed by the attention they drew.
The whole purpose of visiting the show was to see and hear the feedback from visitors to the show on my builds. And I must say we did get what we hoped for. The entire day went by in what felt like a heartbeat. The moments I wasn’t talking to people about Unquendor Guitars, my Custom Guitar Experience and my guitars were scarce.
The visitors to the show who came to my little corner gave me nothing but positive feedback.
Even the ones clearly admitting to prefer only the most vintage guitars at the show ended up picking one up and started to play it.

Nessa guitars

For the first time out on display.

All in all I feel it was a very successful day and I’ve met a lot of great people with whom I could talk about my guitars and what Unquendor Guitars is all about.

I intend to make enough guitars to be able to rent an official stand at the next show on the 23rd of March 2019 and have the same great day as I did today.
