Unquendor Guitars at the " Vintage Guitar Show Veenendaal" 23-03-2019

After visiting the last Vintage Guitar Show with just 2 guitars this time Unquendor Guitars brought everything to the show and rented a full booth to promote my Nessa Guitars and Custom services.

After weeks of preparation it was finally time to set the alarm clock and load up the car.
The last couple of weeks have been filled with ordering promotional materials, finishing guitars and making guitar-straps.
All done just in time for the show.

Ready to Go!

All loaded up for the Show

My wife Kirsten joined me to the show, so fortunately I didn’t have to carry everything myself.
And it is of course way more fun to attend these shows together.

We arrived early at the venue and started setting up the booth straight away so we would be all set and done before the doors would open to the public..

Fine Tuning

Making sure every guitar is in tune.

After setting up the stand I had some time to fine tune every guitar we brought with us so they would be ready to be played.
We were ready in no time and I must confess I was pretty nervous at this time.

The nervousness disappeared as soon as the first visitors to the show started coming in and stopped by our stand.

It has been a very busy day. With lots of people stopping by to look at the guitars and ask questions about my ‘ Custom Guitar Experience’. It has also been a very fun day. It was very nice to meet a lot of new people and see some familiar faces as well.
The amount of people stopping at our booth may have had something to do with us giving away free guitar picks as a calling-card.

Pick it up!

Something to remember me by.

We’ve got a lot of positive feedback on my guitars from both regular visitors and professional guitar makers a like. This ensures me I’m on the right track and I have to keep making these awesome guitars.

Also meeting up with the other exhibitors is a great part of these shows. It is always nice to meet other people just as crazy about guitars, guitar parts and all guitar related items as I am. Especially when you might be able to help each other out in future projects or just to exchange tips and tricks.

I can’t believe how fast this neck is. I can hardly tell I’m even holding a guitar it’s so easy to play.

All in all it has been a very successful day for Unquendor Guitars and although we didn’t make any sales I made a lot of new, and maybe, promising contacts.
Someone might even be the lucky owner of the first custom made Unquendor Guitars guitar-strap which I donated for the raffle draw. Unfortunately we missed the draw, if you happen to be the one, or know who won it please let me know if you like it.

Prize

An Unquendor Guitars custom guitar-strap.

I can’t wait for the next show to attend. In the meantime I hope to soon welcome my first customer to my workshop. It would be awesome to have someone enjoy one of the Nessa guitars.

I would like to end this post with thanking my wife and family for supporting me in my obsession for building guitars and everything that comes with it.
And thanks to all who visited me at the show or supported me otherwise.

I’ll end this post with a short photo impression of this awesome day.
